I too had issues with the relationship cheat. I don't have MCCC so I rely on this cheat if I want Sims to become friends/romantic quickly.
My last time was about a week ago, when I was trying to get my Sim - Larry Laffer (yep - Leisure Suit Larry as a Sim! Scary!) - to become friends with Nancy Landgraab! After several failed attempts, I finally gave up and just said, " Sorry, Larry! You're on your own!"
Thankfully, Larry still had a "Cloud gaze with Nancy" whim to help clue me in. I had no idea that cloud gazing would raise the relationship level so much!
I don't know why it didn't work. I had the "testingcheats true" on, but it still refused to work (other cheats worked). Guess Larry will have to bring out that charming personality of his - :lol: !
