Rental Lot type??? Can someone explain..

It's from Outdoor Retreat.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh i just re-read the original post, i'm guessing they are like the cabins you rent when you go camping on vacation, you can probably place them in that world.

It has been my experience that the "Rental" lot type only works in Granite Falls.

I got excited when I saw the Rental lot option a first. I wonder if they are going to make it something that can be used in Sulani, I tried it and it didn't work. It would be great if it did because Sulani should also be a vacation spot and a rental option would be perfect.

Ok thanks, can you still use it as an apartment rental? how does it work in other worlds?

i think it's just meant to look like an apartment, unless there's a mod that makes it like an apartment with renting bills and such.

Yea, sadly 'rental' won't show up as a lot type outside of Granite Falls :'(

Thanks I seen that when I tried, it would have been nice if we could use it in other worlds.

It might be because you have the mod installed.
The only way to build rental lots is to build in the Granite Falls. There cannot be residental houses in Granite Falls and there cannot be rental lots outside Granite Falls.
If your sim is on the vacation there, the other rental lots will automatically have sims.
