The thing that find the most annoying is like what others have said, when the sims feel an emotion they tend to do the same stuff over and over again. I swear I got so sick of a sim being inspired and immediately playing with that freaking lump of clay. It was to the point I had to remove it because no matter how high or low creative like skills were such as painting, they would always mess around with that clay or dance. It was like, they would just take the thing all over the house messing with it obsessively.
That and Get Famous because your sim can't even go out on a date to the bakery without some celebrity showing up and causing a hoard of people to come over and scream while you're just trying to have a nice cup of coffee or eclair. Like ANYWHERE you go this happens. My sim was telling a story to the barista and their date but sure enough the celebrity comes over, stands there DEMANDING a pastry. I laughed as they were ignored and finally walked away after several minutes but geeze. It's not even a chance happening this one particular celebrity (forget her name) I am so tempted to delete. I don't want to do it but boy am I tempted. I just don't understand why they are always there and not just a small chance of turning up. Makes no sense.
I just watched the sims3 vs sims4 party and wow, the sims3 party looks like a REAL party! And holy heck the differences between evil sims in both games is staggering. I can't tell who is an evil sim in sims4 because everyone acts nice. The vamp guy broke into my house bit my sim and couldn't leave cause I locked the door. I tried real hard to be mean to them and they still acted nice right after each interaction. Plus even though they bit me and broke into my house I think I got a bad rep from being mean to him. Unf... Talk about restrictive. Also feels like you get punished and there's very little reward or reason to be anything other then a good wholesome person. Atleast it feels that way to me. Trying to be anything other then 'nice' just feels immensely out of place.
