Research angry emotion

In the acting career you have 3 tasks to do to prep for your job. Everything is self explanatory and relatively easy to accomplish, but this one Research Angry Emotion isn't working out for me. You're supposed to get into an angry mood and complete mean interactions. I have done this on several sims, but the task isn't updated. It has also messed with my reputation 🤨...Anyone have any ideas?

With my first sim I got them angry and fighting with other sims, but then my actress got the bad reputation, which I did not want, so with my second sim. I made a little corner with a big bin and placed 3 angry paintings above it. I had her stand there, that would give her the angry moodlet, then I had her kick the bin over, stomp in the rubbish and then pick it all up and repeat..... Wolla all completed and no a bad reputation anywhere :D ;) And once you completed it just place the paintings in your buy inventory and instant angry moodlet dissapears :D
  • If their logic is high enough, does ranting logically count, I wonder? That usually doesn't get too many Sims mad.
  • @ KalopsianDreamer, awesome tip (child's toy), works perfectly for when you don't want to anger anyone and loose your 'Reputation'.

@ MRSMEADOWBROOK, I am also playing with Judith Ward, she is so happy on her lot it the 'anger mood' won't kick in properly.

    I found a solution.

I bought the toy (Dino) and placed it on Venessa Jeong's lot (the girl with the blue and yellow short hair). I put 'Dino' right at the front of the property, which you can access without having to 'knock at the door'. Then I had Judith 'Yell At' Dino 4 times, task accomplished.
  • In order to become angry, you must click on your sim, and then click on the 'Research Angry Emotion' button. If this doesn't work, it may be because you have other emotions going on that are preventing the Research Angry Emotion to not take effect. Causes of this may be interactions with items or other sims. The cause for me is that the lot traits I had in place were making my sim happy, which was overriding the Research Angry Emotion. I had to temporarily remove my lot's traits, which let the anger settle in. Then, I did actions with the red colored tab on the left. After the preparation task, 'Research Anger Emotion', was complete, I put the lot traits back on, and I let the anger wear off. This worked for me.
