Yes. A Spellcaster can cast dedeathify and instantly revive them.

Completing the writer aspiration allows a sim to write The Book of Life that can resurrect a dead sim. They have to bind that book to a living sim first, though. If that sim dies, the book owner can then summon them and resurrect them.

How long does it take for the sim to master writing to be able to write that book? Besides that, he is already dead and I added his ghost to the household. Since this happened though, I went to gameplay options and unticked the option for weather to affect sims. Now none of my sims will get hot or cold.

The Book of Life is good insurance in case a sim dies unexpectedly. You can only bind one sim to each book, but you can have as many books as you want in inventory. The aspiration requires a lot of writing practice and publishing books, so it does take some time. Unfortunately, it won’t help a sim that’s already passed Ambrosia is probably your best bet there, if you don’t have a Spellcaster handy. Get it from the gallery to fast track things a bit.

Unfortunately, I looked in the Gallery, but nothing. No Ambrosia and anything else that would help. I'm working on getting his fishing lev to 8 (I think) to be able to catch the Angelfish.

I have a spellcaster who loves to go to Ghost Night at the bars. She will dedeathify any ghosts who aren't elders...pretty cool stuff. You have to be a master caster to learn that spell.

I've gotten angelfish around level 2 or 3.

I finally got him brought back to life. In hind sight though, I *could have* gone to Willow Creek and fished from the rivers, but I kept him home through the winter and leveled up his fishing skill. I put him in front of Okenstead and he got an angelfish within a few min. :)
