Retail Store Can't Sell Earbuds

I've been renovating some of my old builds lately, just a few minutes ago I was tweaking one of my old Get To Work retail stores, and while I was renovating I thought it would be fun to have my Sim sell some of the earbuds from Fitness Stuff in the electronics section of the store. It was a bit of a chore to order the earbuds, find them in my Sim's inventory, and select "Place in World" one by one, then go into Build Mode and move the earbuds from the floor to the store shelves. Then I went back into Live Mode and clicked on the earbuds, hoping to be able to set them as For Sale, but the only option available was "Place in Inventory." Am I missing something, or is it impossible to sell the earbuds from Fitness Stuff in a Get to Work retail store?
