Romance questions

So is this a mod glitch or an update glitch? Cause when I went to ask sims if they were single and stuff I only had two options one of them was what their preference was and they got mad I asked that and walked away and there was something else that I don’t remember. Did this change with the new update or is it another glitch?

    Ask if single is still available in my game, right under ask about romantic interests and woohoo interests.

    Sexual preference matters with that social. I took a straight female sim and I clicked on another woman and all that came up under romance was ask about woohoo and romantic interests. That is weird in and of itself. If a sim is not into that person because of their gender why would they care about their interests in those areas. And if they're not going to get into a relationship with that sim what business is it of their's what the sims interests are. Further proof if more was needed that sims don't understand boundaries.?
