@ChampandGirlie I've seen the "party" behavior at the night clubs and lounges, too. Many of the men channel their inner Don Lothario. Eliza Pancakes, whose husband I NEVER see, is the life of the party.
@babajayne I wondered how well Ask To Be Friends worked. Apparently some Sims don't get the message...or deliver it very convincingly.
@MoonlightGraham - Thanks for replying. I'm playing a few generations after I let all the pre-mades die out but I'm familiar with these two. I'm not going to complain about because if I wanted, I could roll with it and I mean, it's spontaneous. I do like to be able to stick with the direction I'm going with if I've already decided that I'm playing with a happy couple, for example. I've considered looking up how to cheat the Sentiments back for that spouse in that situation. I have no issue with using cheats to fix something like that.
I've been waiting for a Romance pack but it seems like the concept has been parceled out across the packs perhaps due to popularity or else something is in development. I do think a big overhaul with more personality differentiation would be good. I like playing with a lot of different types of sims so I'd like to be able to continue like that.
I'm also adding that they could really expand on a lot more interactions. There could be romantic styles. Sims who have been together a long time could have new interactions or ways to celebrate. More recently, I have several sims who lost their spouses but who wouldn't date anyone else because they were so in love. I've almost considered putting them into a club together. I guess I could give them the unflirty trait but I probably won't. Getting more activities for the elders is helpful for them. They could hang out with the Crumplebottoms.
