I have not played a lot with roommates, that is I did have them but just replaced them if they complained and left. But I wonder if they refer tio the "total situation", not just their own bed? I the other apartments still have bad beds, the "score" might be too low.
In my dorm I have a couple of the Uni beds (which I assume are quite poor), but there are also some nice beds, so maybe the game makes some average score of it all? My lodgers never complained about the poor uni bed.
