Sale purchase advice

I've had the pack for half a year, but haven't been deeply affected by the furtinure system, I hardly notice it. You don't have to give favourite furniture to your played sims, they use the likes/dislikes system (except you'll get no pop ups either). I have maybe one or two sims who have furniture favourites/dislikes and sometimes they go that style furniture to express their opinion. I haven't had sims wake up in the middle of the night or anything like some early reports said. Some townies may have furniture favourites, but I haven't found it distracting. Now that I'm writing this once in a while I do have sims walking into my home uninvited, but I'm not sure if it's related to furniture likes or something else completely, just came to my mind now and started wondering.
