It was like that in 2019 and 2018 too.

ts4 packs don't really get discounts, they just get sold closer to their actual worth. ea just has them on higher price because they still sell. they might as well have them on 100$ each, people would still buy them.

They did this last year with Discover University as well - wait til about the 20th Dec and the latest expansion is likely to be 50% off.

I suspect they expect most people to be willing to only pay half price but they still set it double the expected price cuz there are always a group of simmers who would pay anything on a new pack :)

It is 25% off on the PS4, and I plan to buy it. The sales are better on the PC versus the PS4, so 25% off is probably the best price I will get for it. Very rarely to all the packs go on sale, and if they do, it is at a worse percentage than the PC. I would get it for PC, but just running the base game can kill it. I have an older PC, so it can only handle so much, so I am invested on my PS4.
