While I agree that the work required is large, and that the developers do not deserve flack directly because they likely did the best they could...I do not agree the company couldn't have done better. And I do think they (as in EA management) deserve these little kickbacks.
Sims 4 isn't some mini-game by a niche developer, it's a continuation of a massive franchise that's been popular for 15 years now.
When I first played it, "ooo CAS is pretty" shouldn't have been my only "wow" moment.
