I've noticed a pattern developing. There seems to be in increase in bashing after the announcement of a new release. And more of the feedback crowd shows up in the discussion forum.
It's because people are disappointed at Maxis' messed-up priorities. Whenever new content is announced family players who have been POLITELY asking for more representation of their play style since the game came out are snubbed more and more. Put yourself in their shoes:
Say you like the "HEY BRUH LET'S PARTY LOLOLOLOLOL!" play style and TS4 comes out and you don't even have the option to have more than one partner. You'll be upset right? And let's say you kept politely asking for that feature to come out because it's been in the previous games prior and you only get two things from the devs: excuses and silence. And as the final insult all of the new content in the game is focused on family play leaving all your promiscuous Sims forced to commit.
You'll be upset right? That's EXACTLY what family players feel whenever a new pack comes out that focuses on single-Sim play.
