Save Files Won't Delete

If you are on windows, use windows explorer to go to ":\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves" to see all your save files.
My guess is they may be marked as "read only", which you can check by right clicking them in Windows explorer and then selecting "properties." Then look to see if the read only check box is ticked.

You can also delete them while in that folder in explorer as well. Just make sure you don't accidentally delete something you do want to keep.

I have Windows and will simply remove the saves file from my game via the Documents>Electronic Arts> Sims 4 pathway. Inside the game, I can add a folder. I right click it to rename as saves. Voila problem games are gone. Every now and again I 'clean house' to remove old saves I just don't need anymore or just no longer playing them.

I've done that and it helped! I had made a backup folder and put all of my saves in that one, then replaced the saves file with the backup and voila! No more "Saved Game 499012391" saves.
