Saving lots to own library broken?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! That did the trick! Never noticed that gallery/library box, let alone checked it. Checked the box and all lots appeared, each attempt's worth. And over 50 sims, several of which are special favorites that I have no idea how to create again. It was like an instant explosion of content. You solved the unsolvable to me mystery! Such a small and simple yet vital thing.

But I never had that greyed out 'show custom content' box before. This is weird.

I think I probably still had unseen CC in the build, which would have locked that box field. Still, weird when you have no idea what's going on.

Don't have even a 20th of 250 photos or any other wall decoration. Odd how pictures would block a lot transfer. Turned out to be a display settings issue that I had no clue about.

I don't just have trouble seeing my OWN creations, but I also have trouble seeing the full catalog of others. Some builders have posted videos showing the best setting to see all their builds. I am glad that I was able to help. I still don't have all of this figured out yet, but I am able to see more and more as I watch videos like this one. Good Luck!

I haven't been able to save lots to Library for well over a year now. I end up having to save them to Gallery with numerous caps lock disclaimers that they are Game Saves only and I am not claiming the work as my own. Even so I've still had people throw a fit for me 'stealing' content, even though I plaster my Gallery saves with disclaimers like 'not my work', 'not for download' 'game save only' 'uploaded for game reset', etc etc. It is rather tiresome and I'd much rather just have them in my Library.

That seems odd. Probably worth heading to AHQ for, if the CC tick mark isn't making it show up. There shouldn't be anything you can upload to the Gallery that you can't also save to your Library.

Currently what I am noticing is if I place a lot from the Gallery (even My Library) I get that annoying notice this lot was made with MOO or placed with MOO. Hello, I don't use that tool EVER. But to find lots I've placed there, I almost always click the box for cc, whether I used it or not. Especially, if I can't find what I just saved.
