school projects

Do your sims finish them? My teen sim has a school project she's been working on all week and there's no timer count down when she's working on it. Will she finish it or is it something that can't be finished?

You can buy them from kids activities for 100 and each has a skill so if you want a skill that's more in line with your sims goals etc.

Wow! Something I did not know! Cool! B)

Yep they're available for kids and teens. Most revolve around science, handiness, rocket science and programming but I can't remember them all. I'll sometimes buy 3 and have a kid or teen dedicate a day to them to get the responsibility trait way up
  • I found this at the wiki when I googled school projects. It tells what skill each project improves.

  • Without help the projects take teens 4 sim hours to complete. With help I'm unsure as you can have 1 or more assisting but likely half the time.

    Interesting...

"Assist with Project"; this creates a higher quality item and takes less time to build. Working on the project builds both a child skill (all but one builds mental; the exception builds creativity) and an adult skill for the student and for the assistant.
  • Thank you. She's been working on it but she lives alone and has a garden to take care of. I barely have enough time to take care of her needs because she's having moods and she's slower at doing things than I'm used to. This is my first time playing a teen.
