What does everyone do with their screen shots? Do you make a video or just leave them? Can I see examples?

I love the screen shot tool but is it possible to use it in Build/Buy mode and not just Live Mode, I press Tab the same way and it doesn't work and I hate having to go out and create a Sim just to move in and take screen shots in Live Mode, there has to be an easier way surely?? :'(
