Seasonal Deco....

Seems like a pain in the plum. But okay. And then cancel every other shipped holiday so they don't reappear?

Yes, I was editing my previous post as you were posting. It's tedious but it's all there is w/o mods especially with the update coming. :)

Yeah, that's one thing I don't have an answer for. The neighborhood decorating is supposed to despawn at the end of the holiday, but in my game it's random, sometimes it does and other times no dice and then I make a clean up day.

It shouldn't be up to me, or you, to make a clean up "holiday" to fix their feature. If they implement something in the game like decoration, it should go away when the holiday ends. No ifs, maybes, ands, or buts. It should be GONE.

Like the festivals. And they shouldn't overlap, and your sim shouldn't have to sleep on a park bench to wait it out so it doesn't just never go away....

There is no possible way to immerse oneself in the game as they have it set up. It's a constant battle.

You have no idea how much I WISH i could enjoy it again. But they just keep ruining it the more they add. ( for me)

Hopefully they will have a real fix for both of these issues and more in the next patch. Because both are still open, I believe, on the AHQ site.

Hopefully they will have a real fix for both of these issues and more in the next patch. Because both are still open, I believe, on the AHQ site.

I've lost faith. When you look at what modders can do, and what the devs fail to do even though players want it.....I've no faith. Or hope. There's no way it should be shipped as sloppy as it is every time they add something, or " fix" something.

They should have known after festivals that decorating outside in the world wasn't going to work. lol

Each holiday lets you choose the theme. All you have to do is set it to 'none.' I don't believe we even had an option in TS3. Other lots would decorate for Christmas without our control. This time we have the option to turn it off.

ETA: I see. Your issue is that the decorations didn't go away. I thought you didn't want the decorations at all.

ETA: I see. Your issue is that the decorations didn't go away. I thought you didn't want the decorations at all.

That could be one of the bugs that gets fixed in the next patch.

I'm so glad I read this thread. When I get Seasons and this isn't fixed yet, if it does happen to me, I'll know what to do right away and not let it eat me up. :D ;)
