Seasons!

Prefacing by saying thank you for everything you guys have implemented since release. I’ve played Sims 4 since 2017 and have about, or a little over 4000 hours of gameplay logged on ps4.. lol. As I’m playing during the holiday reward events ive had some thoughts on what I’d love to see in the future;

  • Gingerbread and Candy! Home decorating, costumes, food we can prepare and eat. Candy cane fences, gum drop rocks, other various sized candies to decorate with.. the possibilities are nearly endless
  • ice sculptures! I think this could somehow go along with wood working, just scaled up. I wouldnt complain about giant wood sculptures either.
  • A baked alaska! Wow other Sims or ruin christmas.
  • Snow AND mud men! Im from the Southern USA. We dont get snow that often, so usually the best we can do is mud men.. lol. That being said.. mud pies! Mud castles? Red clay variants? it would be pretty fun to “bring a snow/mud man to life”
  • icicles! Maybe even deadly icicles!

  • Holiday/festive versions of evergreens to go along with the festive bushes we now have. I know we have the regular festive trees, i would just like some for pure decoration, minimal fire hazard lol.

    if I mentioned anything that has already been added, I apologize! Again thank you for everything

  • Those are cool ideas. I especially am in favor of our Sims being able to create Gingerbread houses. I would love to see a competition, but mostly, I would love for it to be a family thing. I do hope you caption the attention of EA with this post. Merry Christmas!

  • I really wish they would bring back seasonal festivals.

    More foods specific to the seasons, for example where I live we have a big strawberry festival every year in May. It would be nice to have something like that in the sims.

    I want more costumes for kids and younger sims and a costume category in cas. I want my sims to be able to trick or treat and actually get treats- and tricks- in their inventory.

    I agree! Just based on how they’re handling the festive rewards are event, i think we may see more tradition options added in so we could really utilize the in game calendar.

    I try to keep up with the surveys, anytime i see them hinting at more Occult sims and costumes/accessories, i say yes for this exact thing. Trick or treating would be such a fun add on.
