Just noticed this while playing the detective career from Get to Work, during the APBs when you have to find the sim the description of what they are wearing is based on their everyday outfit but now that townies like to wear warm/cold outfits the description doesn't always line up.

Another issue with the detective career I've noticed is that when on patrol your sim may go to Selvadorada, It seem a bit unrealistic that a sim would travel to the jungle just for their day to day work...

All I can say, is try to arrest the person based on hair color, age and whatever if any, trait is ascribed to them until they get around to fixing this. It's what a real detective would do, after all.

The problem I had was a combination of both Seasons and Selvadorada. The APB sent me to Selvadorada, where everyone was in summer clothing or tourists. No one matched the description the first time. But I did find the suspect on the second trip.

If you ask other sims if they recognise the suspect they will actually point at the suspect or at least in the direction of the suspect.

^^ Also, if you can't tell who they're pointing to, I believe the suspect will do animations as if saying "Oh no, I hope I don't get caught..."

All I can say, is try to arrest the person based on hair color, age and whatever if any, trait is ascribed to them until they get around to fixing this. It's what a real detective would do, after all.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll hold off on that career until it is fixed.

You can always just ask a sim you suspect of being the suspect to just 'ask to see outfit'. They're usually happy to oblige.

Unless you are asking the suspect, they'll steer you in the wrong direction every time. :D

Just commented to say that I love the sims in your signature. Are they supposed to be a creature of some sort? elves maybe?
