I want at least four weeks in a season and preferably up to twelve. Yes, I know that's a very long time to sit in the cold but...

They did say you must have all four seasons, but can choose different lengths.Also, seasons will act somewhat different depending on the world.

In the past games, if I wanted to play summer as long as (real) summer lasted, I'd put summer at the maximum and make the other seasons the minimum. That way the sims might have a cool turn in the weather, but have summer return. I don't know if we can assign different lengths for the season or if all will have the same length.

That is so cool! I'm going to definitely customize my season length because one week is too short. I think they had it set on a week for demo/playability purposes. I've been seeing on Twitter that the Sims booth is very popular.

But do I have an option to choose the weather for winter when I do not want snow in that neighborhood? I was able to make choices like this in Sims3, I'll be pretty disappointed if we cannot choose the weather. And no, I do not want to play with that weather machine all the time ...
I also do not want to shorten the season itself, I just want the weather in that season to be mild.
