Seasons gardening/harvestables *new info* - thank you kalaksed :)

Here's some info I've been piecing together from the livestream + the game changer's videos regarding harvestables.
The info can be found in the official seasons livestream, and also in the videos posted here: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/941680/sims-4-seasons-ea-play-footage-info-thread#latest

I've added more info for a LOT of plants that I've viewed for myself in-game.

Also a big thank you to @kalaksed for contributing info for JA plants, the new harvestables and confirming that all seasons plants are indeed all seasons. Plant info contributed by @kalaksed is marked with an asterisk (*).

so my sim bought the rare seeds pack and I got an angry bean??? what do I do with it I cant plant it...….

Unless you are trying to complete a collection you may be out of luck. These Magic Beans were part of a special event. You collected beans from other Sims then placed them on a special stump. They grew into a tree that once searched yielded a Forbidden Fruit. Eating it turns a Sim into a PlantSim for a short while. :)

You can collect them all, now, and buy the stump. It's been reenabled since the beans were included in one of the seed packets. My Sim grew the tree and got the Forbidden Fruit, but I haven't done anything with it. It's in the treasure chest, just to make sure she doesn't try to use it for cooking or fishing.
  • Hi Everyone! I would also like to ask some help if you don't mind. I'm trying to complete the gardening collection (without cheating). I am having troubles with one of the collectibles, I tried to research it online, but I don't know what it is and how to find it. It seems to be a base game collectible (and makes sense, there are 32, I am missing birds of paradise and this unidentified one only). I tried a lot of forums but still don't know what this is. Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to post a picture to show you, the silhouette is something like a branch set in a piece of stone (does it make sense??) , this is the last one in the list after pomegranate. Can you please help me identify what this is? I'd grateful for any help! Thank you, have a nice day everyone!
  • I have this huge garden in my current household and I bought seasons and I just thought, why have most of them stopped growing? Then I realised they have assigned seasons.
  • @Simmermarty That was a bit if a shock for me as well ;)
Having some sort of roof will allow them to grow year round.

Thanks for the roof idea! I think it's the glass roof, I'll make sure to check!

It can be any roof but the glass roof makes for better light.
You can also grow trees or other plants {in planters} in a basement or bunker.
The walls have to be medium height for trees to fit.
