I don't...? Is it my desktop? Though I was watching the trailer on my iPad when I first noticed it. It certainly doesn't look like this anyway:

Maybe it is my eyes failing though.
That TS3 picture is perfect and you can clearly see the big difference. The TS4 snow looks just like a flat surface with a snow angel motive on top, while the Sims actually sink into the snow in TS3.
So far the scenes we've seen really just look like a grass recolor which was good enough for mods, but not the quality you would expect from a big company that even managed to make depth in snow 11 years (!) ago because even TS2 had actual piles of snow when you made a snow angel and their feet were sinking into the snow.
