Sure it works. Is it fair though that they charge you for a feature that you can't use? It was one of the major selling features of the game. I'm working around it too, but people should be able to turn it on, leave it on and not worry about rebuilding a bar every time they want to travel. We shouldn't be ok with having to turn a feature off not because you simply want it off but because it needs to be off.
They really do need more testing before they send this stuff out. Sure it "works" but it's a quality of life issue in game too. Quirky is one thing, invasive is another.
