I can already tell I'm going to love this thread for new ideas.

I can't say much right now, but I recently used a Black and White bash as a funeral for one of my sims' friends. I threw it at the deceased sim's house where her parents still lived. I gave my sim the Always Welcome trait so he can perform his 'caterer' career during the actual game instead of disappearing to a rabbithole. I instructed him to cook a bunch of meals and some sims actually cried autonomously at the urn so it went very well!
