This is a really fun idea for a thread!
I discovered that, even though I have tons of mid-century-influenced female Sims who seem traditional on the surface, none of them seem to be completely traditional. Julie Smith is the first one who came to mind when I thought of traditional women. At one time, she was a mid-century housewife who loved cooking, cleaning, and spending time with her children. But her husband left her, so she raised twin boys on her own and does all repairs herself.

She's an old-fashioned midwestern elderly woman who likes quiet, homey activities like reading and rocking in her chair. But she is currently raising seven grandchildren by herself, managing the household, and doing most repairs as well. She also has purple streaks in her hair. She is pictured here with her brother Teddy.
