I think a tween stage would be awesome but I'm fine with the stages that we have. The only thing that is slightly irritating is being able to tell the difference between teens and young adults.
But if I can remember my phsycology there are 8 different stages of development.
Infancy 0-18 months
Early Childhood 18months to 3 years
Middle Childhood 3 to 5 years
Late Childhood 5 to 12 years
Adolescents 12 to 20 years
Early Adult 20 to 30 years
Mature Adult 30 to 65
Elder or Old Age 65+
