The gap between child and teen could have been filled if they only made teens look younger and shorter. Right now they look the same as YA's.
Pretty much this. It still bothers me.
The reason is just to cut corners. Sure, you can use every piece of clothing and blablabla and they don't have to create 'teen specific'' clothing, but come on.
I highly doubt they will ever make teens a bit shorter though. Maybe in the Sims 5. In a few years.
