Should my sim eat carrot and listen to alternative music both to get a boy baby?

I would do both if I was trying to get a boy.

Both. And eat as many carrots while listening to Alternative music as you want. It still doesn't guarantee it, but puts the chance up.

My suggestion is do both every time after you load the household since it probably resets when leaving the active household to world management or another household or exiting the game.

I had a similar but opposite situation. My sim was had 2 boys and wanted to try for a girl. When she got pregnant I was going to spawn the fruit needed because I was planning on making it her last child regardless the gender and then was like, I’ll leave it up to chance, just like IRL. And luckily she got a girl?

I harvested the carrots from back yard at home lot and fed her whenever the nature moodlet disappears, and had her listen to alternative with earbud all the time. And finally got a boy baby! Thanks for all helps~ :smile:
