I've recently been accused of stealing someone's build, but I didn't steal anything. I downloaded a home, didn't like the interior, refurnished it and reuploaded it. It says "Original by: *EA account ID*", so I'm not taking credit for it. I just thought maybe someone would prefer my type of interior instead of the original.
However I came across some of my other uploads where the "Original by" feature was nowhere to be found. I didn't do it on purpose, because I think it's only fair that the original creator gets the credit. I just didn't notice it was gone until now. I felt I had to remove the uploads because it wasn't originally made by me, only the interior.
But maybe this has happened to others as well and they don't even know it? I certainly didn't do it on purpose, and have now removed all of my reuploads in which the original creator wasn't credited.
I've noticed that lately too. On most things now the "Original by" has not been showing up.
