I have been playing Get to Work pretty much everyday since its come out and I still haven't been abducted by aliens. I have tried putting him in the scientist career, putting collectibles in his inventory, I made the satellite (I contacted the Aliens every sim day since i've had it) and nothing. I honestly don't know whats wrong. Any one else having this problem or have a solution? :/

How do u get the satellite to contact aliens I want my female sim to get abducted by an alien n she's doing the doctor career

Your one of the lucky ones, the aliens seem to be deeply in love with my guy sim, that they feel to constantly kidnap him in the middle of the night and impregnate him. This has happened three times so far. Not really all for the constant male kidnap and impregnation because it takes away the full experience on the new jobs because he's moody from being preggo all the time. But I feel like the abductions randomly happen though, my sim lives in a starter home in oasis springs and he got snatched the first night. :|

I mean in the first night after starting out nobody should have so much in his pockets already. So I wonder really what's going on, that some people have like aliens coming the first night and I play like 5 nights, 3 promotions and don't see any Aliens at all.. :(

Yeah I've read forums and their sims always got impregnated by the aliens, but my sim can't even get abducted once. :|
Also, the collectibles, the science career and even working on a spaceship are suppose to increase the chances of your sim getting abducted, but I've also read that its random.... :#

try having your sim reach a high enough in logic that will increese your chances too

What worked for me is inviting an alien over to my house and talking to them. Also using the observatory.

Thank you for the replies. I still haven't found one yet. My sim had a level 8 logic skill because he was in the science career and used the observatory everyday. I don't know whether that was enough?

What category is that satellite in - I want it so I don't get abducted.

You can't buy it. You have to make it in the science career or buydebug.

You can't buy it. You have to make it in the science career or buydebug.

If you use the right cheat you can buy it. I found it, finally, I had to search under GTW items only.
