Yeah it doesn't look like a 50/50 split is an option, unfortunately. Maybe that was on purpose or an oversight?
I'm beginning to suspect this:
The money (and dependents) inheritance comes into play when all the teen or older sims in the household die. What should also be mentioned is that it actually seems like these come into play when the last teen or older sim dies and becomes a ghost (yeah, becoming a playable ghost still triggers the inheritance).
So in short, it would ensure that:
- 40% goes to household 1
- 40% goes to household 2
- 20% stays with the ghost household so they can still keep paying bills or move out.
