Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Negative Discussion thread.

I wonder if the price increase is regional then? I know there was an announcement about a price increase recently. (Unless they forgot to change it?)

There nothing been announce in a price increase.A leak said this was the most expensive expansion pack so far.Which probably the most expensive to develop.

I don‘t know why, but since I haven‘t seen an adult sim use the bow and arrow I am a little afraid it is a child only thing. 

I have wished for something like Custom Venues for years, but I really dislike that it's a pack feature. This will limit the possibilities of all packs in the future. 

I'm also wondering about the sleeping aspect of Getaways. I hope other Sims will sleep as well and not behave like GRO's stay over guests. Getaways would have to implement that well in order to be distinguishable from Small Businesses which seem quite similar at first glance.

I am excited  but yeah later in time I will buy it. Me as person? Does not jump in a sea full of jellyfish 😅Later on with will be fun. Indeed rentals you cannot stack more than allowed. For me setup 3 worked fine with mods, untill the death update. I aint touching mods, untill the issue with moderators and the sims-team is fix.

That would be weird seeing as while kids can use bow and arrows... it's pretty physically demanding to fire a bow and it's an activity that I think definitely develops more as you become more of an adult and become stronger.

Think my biggest bone to pick with this pack is really just the theme,
kinda feels like what x, y ,z should have been about 😅
so meanwhile I am happy about new gameplay
I can't help but feel tad regretful that its all only part of this new pack 😅
aaand then I start wondering what else would be in this pack
if those things were in those other packs they could have been part of... *sighs*

I am a bit creeped out by the imaginary friends in Sims 4 (Sims 3 worked for me but barely) and the bachelor "elimination" challenge, but I think that all pretty much reality shows cater to the more shameful points of humanity. But I am also bias as it is something I can't stand in reality, and clearly they are popular since reality shows keep getting made.

Though funny I'd never swim with jellyfish in the real world it is a beautiful site, and I can see it working if used with mermaids. I have no interest in kids but I can see a lot of people thrilled at custom playground equipment, heck, I'd prolly have fun designing it just wouldn't have kids to use it XD

I am more than happy skipping this pack till 50% off in a year or two time. And will probably get because of the butterfly catching, I am hopeful they make butterflies (and fingers crossed OR insects patched in) to be for all worlds, and given unique thumbnails. The world looks pretty enough and looking forward to see new traits/skills in more details.

The trailer looks nice but I have a few concerns 

• underwater woohoo: will this be available for mermaids as well? I hope the devs remembered to add a fish tail animation as well
• spinning class: please let us also organise yoga classes for a retreat. I hope massages can be selected as an activity as well
• Playground equipment for toddlers: please let there be something for toddlers as well for a playground. Perhaps not the slides but the trailer shows toys attached to the railings. Those would be perfect for toddlers

I am beyond excited for this pack. But I am very concerned about the getaway venue. They keep mentioning your sims. I will be very disappointed if NPC my sims doesn't know or invites don't show up and also sleep on the lot.
