Sims 4 focuses too much on looks rather than gameplay

because the engine is limited and the AI n stuff was planed on later stages so in an attempt to not bore people they must focus on the pretty things leaving behind the gameplay. they probably can try to improve it somehow and give us more animations, interactions, activities, or even try to rework emotions, personalities etc but it will probably cost them more than expected and no one seems to be complaining anyways so they don't think it's necessary to bother trying.
