FYI the autonomous new-romantic-relationship thing was patched out (finally!) for married played Sims recently.

Other side? No no, I hated the cheating spouses too. It made me stop playing married/partnered sims in rotation full stop. Completely ruined the stories i wanted to tell as I played.
:D But you see I liked the the possibility that there could be cheating spouses...especially in TS4. It actually gives you a choice.....yes a real choice. You could repair the relationship or use it as a curve thrown at you and you have to work it in your story.
