FYI the autonomous new-romantic-relationship thing was patched out (finally!) for married played Sims recently.
I actually had this problem come up very recently in my game again. I have been rotating between about 10 different families, in fairly rapid rotation (sometimes as many as three families in one Sim day) and I noticed that one of my married Sims had at least two new romances generated for her while I was gone. I could tell they were new because they were both with townies who had been generated since installing City Living, and before City Living I hadn't touched my game in a few months. Do you think the fact that I play with MCCC could be causing this, or that the bug hasn't been as vanquished as they said it was?
