@BlueBlack007 your sims can live on a retail lot, it's just that they need a residential lot for the bills etc. On a retail lot you can build an apartment or house style living area and meet all their needs there, it's just that it has to stay as a 'retail lot type' for the business to function. Making use of the door locks you can make it so no other sims except your own has access to the living areas.
ok so as long as it is on Retail, then I can free up that other Lot for another Sim family?
PS, but if it is on Retail, I won't be able to hire other sims and such to work there right?
