- Obviously I have never posted anything, so hello to everyone :) I just wanted to say that 4 really sucks and it's only for the fact that I don't have an open world. It is the most frustrating thing to have to load every single time I leave my house. Why... I had 2 and then when 3 came out and I heard about the worlds, it was like the heavens opened up to me and screamed my name. So I got 4 without hesitation. But then I played and I can't even go anywhere! The game is really good and I like literally everything else except for the world thing. Like that's just the absolute worst thing they could've ever done is go right back to how 2 was. And I don't even like playing, cause I literally get so bored being stuck at my sims home all day. And in all honesty, if I had watched a video about 4 before I got it and saw how the worlds were, I would not have bought the game. I threw away the receipt cause I mean, it's Sims 4... 3 was bomb so why wouldn't 4 be? But I'm like so disappointed. And I know, I'm exaggerating but, to me, this is a big deal breaker. I wish I had the receipt so I could return the game and just stick with 3 until they come out with 5 and, hopefully, change it back.
Also, I really miss the community idea they gave us in 3. Like how we had "The Exchange" and everyone could upload their creations for others to download and enjoy. Like now if I want extra stuff, I have to go through other websites and download them from there. I just felt so much more secure doing it from "The Sims" creators and not just random websites. And we still have "The Community" (I think that's what it's called) when you're in the game and can download others creations, but if their creations have external cc then that doesn't work if you haven't downloaded that exact content which really kinda sucks. It's not that big of a deal, it was just nice how 3 helped us come together like that.
Another thing that's really not that big of a deal, but it'd be nice if they could maybe fix it with a patch or something... is the custom music. In 3 they gave us a specific folder in the actual Sims file on your computer that was just for custom music. Which, I thought, was just the best thing ever. And now, you have put your music in other music folders. So like, I have all my music in "Electronica" and when I'm in my game I hear my music and their pre-set music. Which is kind of annoying cause sometimes I just wanna hear music, my sims aren't listening or dancing, I just wanna hear music and the other music gets in the way.
FOOD! I almost forgot about the food. Why oh why did they go back to having to pay for the food in the fridge! 'Scrambled Eggs' - 6 simoleons 'Pancakes' - 5 'Pasta Primavera' -12 Such a bummer... - I tried to edit a post and I ended up just posting it again... sorry. I don't know how to fix this.

There's a little cog in the top right corner of the post. Edit it quickly and put brackets saying something like "" or something.- Horrorgirl69 years agoSeasoned AceI tried playing Sims 4 yesterday.I noiticed a big problem, well a feature that was gonrr. It was a tiny aspect, but it did leave a big impact. When you go to see house holds in mangae world. You in the old games would have a discription about the house hold .There story, or something about the members in the family . But now you don't, everything is blank. Nothing out about them, but also a lack of families . All I see mostly in the towns are young adults, don't get me wrong. Some sims huseholds had single sims, or young adult sims. But this was more than ever . Another thing the sims to me were emotional in 3, and 2 .Just play 2 again today for a long time . The facial expressions, and reactions are more meaningful. Sims 3 tone them down, but they still felt expressive

Thank you for your help on that, much appreciated. "Horrorgirl6;14882502" wrote:

The bio will only be blank if they are not a founding household or if no description has been included for them when loaded to the Gallery.
There are two ways to see a household's bio. At the top of the page when in map view click on "Manage Households" and that will bring up a screen of several players. Filter through to get the one you want (ie. played/unplayed and world/not in world) and once you have them click on the household picture and if there is a bio it will be on the right.
The other and possibly simpler way, is from map view click on the household you want to know about and in the bottom left corner you will see a household thumbnail and an icon that looks like two sims. Click on the icon and a bio will pop up. You can also see where your Sim is by clicking on their thumbnail here. Especially handy if you have multiple members and want to track one down who is out and about.- BlueBlack0079 years agoSeasoned AceThank you all for your post's, I am glad that you can type here and I hope it helps you feel much better to get it all off your chests, instead of keeping it all bound up inside, Just Remember to keep it civil and Peaceful, thank you.
