Sims 4 Royal and Legacy negative thread.

The men didn't get a good CAS selection this time. Women got a variety of dresses with different and unique styles, and some cool hats and tiaras. They feel very creative. Mens' clothes are very simple, shared with female sims, or are basically the same usual fair we always get for formalwear, except some have West African-inspired prints. Only a few stand out as unique. I would have loved to see more outfits with long coats and scarves, cravat accessories, posh polo looks, capes or shawls that go over one shoulder, pocket watch accessories, and clothing with armor. 

Really glad that most of the clothes are form-fitting though. I've been getting sick of everything being so baggy and oversized on men.

I'm feeling overwhelming positive about the pack, but I do have a few negatives. Most of these where confirmed by Cinderellimouse in her cross pack play video.

One is that the term secrets is used in both the scandal system from this pack and the secrets system from For Rent. Use of the same term can be confusing because the two systems are not overlapping. Also, scandals don't appear to negatively affect reputation which seems a huge oversight.

Also famous celebrities snub noble Sims unless they become famous which doesn't seem accurate to real life.

There is only one aspiration in the pack, and it is a deviant one. It seems there should be a more positive aspiration as well.

Perhaps this is too much to expect, but it would have been nice to have some of the crafts updated to fit the new world, especially as there is a marketplace to sell them. Woodworking and pottery could have been updated to include African patterns, for instance. Also not adding crowns and tiaras to the crystal creations is just sad.

I don't like the mean blackmail drama in the pack.😤  I really hope there's a toggle to turn this off in Game Options.😯

I think the waist piece with the gold vest is supposed to be a cummerbund. It looks weird because they're usually worn without the vest, under the suit jacket. They basically replace a vest, it should be one or the other. That's why it doesn't look right.

At least, I think that's what they were going for.

Right, I am too common for that, I could never let my sims wear that, whatever it is. 🤪 In my language we would call that an ostrich-camel. 😂

Clearly I need a Dolce & Gabbana CAS kit.

Maybe there aren't pockets, maybe there are straps. Or it could be a cropped vest over a waistcoat tucked in pants.

You never have buttons on tuxedo belt at the front and there is also what appears to be pockets either side of the buttons. Not to mention it is tucked into the pants. Vest doesn't go into the pants and it is never cropped. I say it's a glitch  or someone is having a laugh.

I would say it's a vest tucked in tuxedo belt.
