Sims 4 Royal and Legacy negative thread.

There's an option to turn off the effect in interactions on the sim., both the sim you're controlling and sims in world.  It is annoying to have to do it to each sim individually, though.

I don't like that you have to disable scandals just in order to remove this annoying effect.

My noble sim pee'd self and now is stuck with scandel for 2,025 days, other sim has ballroom danced with commoner stuck at 33 days counters not going down.. my sim is in love with that commoner, I feel they would be proud that they did the dance with them, yet my sim has to be embarrassed and also has to do a Noble speech and tearfully apologize for something I Imagine my sim is proud about....sims keep stopping shower to read, stop painting to read... can't even paint for 5 seconds without going to go read again... super exhausting

I wanted to have my Verdemar sims decorate their house with cultural objects, since in my game I love it when my sims can show off their culture. But aside from some generic nautical items, a bowl of fruit and maybe this one Mediterranean potted plant, there's nothing there for me to grab onto. I was hoping we'd have more Portuguese stuff, like a Portuguese guitar, some nectar items, more ceramic tiling, display ceramic plates, little ceramic roosters, and soccer items (if not giving us soccer again, we could have had some jerseys to display; at least we got that in another pack.) Also, my sims can't make natas at home, so I guess they have to buy some? I guess it's a consequence of needing to focus on three regions while prioritizing the royalty theme, but Verdemar and Bellacorde don't feel well-represented as cultures because of it.

At least Dambele has some exclusive items and furniture, but there's still not much in the way of decor and clutter. The twin bird statue refuses to slot on a lot of things. But the furniture is pretty nice, so I can still give my sims a Dambele-themed home. 

Still, I feel like this pack would have benefited from just having Verdemar and Bellacorde, since they're more visually and culturally compatible,  you could make the countries bigger, and you could have developed a more curated BB/CAS. I know it'd be bad for Dambele, but imo our only African rep deserves better than being 6 lots and having little cultural items. I think it should have been its own Game Pack, with 9 to 11 lots, dedicated BB/CAS and more gameplay that ties into culture. Or heck, give me R&L with Bellacorde and Dambele, and give the Game Pack treatment to Verdemar, where we can take part in soccer, or water sports, or ceramic-crafting. I don't care, I need the space to dump all my Portuguese grannies and their little headscarves. 

You could edit the title and change it from knight to sir. But than the game would regard him as Sir and only you know that sir equals a knight. A different setting for the rank and how to address sims doesn't seem possible unfortunately. 

It just dawned on me, as I was looking through the dynasty information on my House of Cantrell.  I found something I do hope EA will change, as it is wholly inaccurate. A Knight isn't addressed as Knight, but rather Sir, and his lady is Dame. Paul McCartney, a former Beatle, became a Knight and he's now addressed as Sir Paul McCartney, just to put it into perspective. I would change it myself, but I'm guessing since the game itself adds it, I cannot do a thing about it. Oh, well . . .

Low resolution family tree avatar and dynasty member profile pics (and sometimes the most annoying poses), and family tree defaults off center...? (these irk me so much).

Oh, that's too bad. 😐 I was hoping that all the candles would light up, would have looked so pretty.
