I'm afraid I didn't take screenshots, but I was able to gather some info from the stream about gardening by pausing at just the right time:
New plants:
- green pea
- green pepper
- dahlia
- crocus
- christmas rose
- begonia
- snow drop
- holly (there might be more new harvestables)
Growth seasons/when a plant is in bloom & producing harvestables:
- carrot: fall & spring
- spinach: winter
- green pea: spring
- rose: fall & spring
- dahlia: fall
- crocus: winter & spring
- begonia: summer & fall
- snow drop: winter
That's all I could get from the official stream but hopefully when the embargo lifts more of this info may be available. It's useful to know if like me you want to grow things only when they're in season.
Awesome. I'm totally leaving my plants outside to see how seasons affect them!
Thanks. :) If I can get more info from the game changers EA play footage/early access footage (or whatever the technical names are) I'll add it. I'm probably going to rotate them too; putting them outside out of the way when they're not in season so they don't produce, then placing them back in the greenhouse when they're in season; I'll be using greenhouses, but ding it this way each plant isn't available to grow all year which seems more realistic.
Although the greenhouses count as indoors, with indoor temperatures, IRL a greenhouse would effectively be outdoor temps inside, offering only shelter from the weather; if you've ever stood in a basic greenhouse in the middle of winter it's cold in there.
