I can account for five of them. The first two happened on their own, and then the game targeted my Global Superstar. He died. I rolled back a save to see just what caused him to go hysterical, only to realize his older brother was telling dumb jokes, left, right and sideways. Erik died a second time. He was about to be murdered again, when I suddenly recalled I had backed up my Sims4 folder before that particular patch had come out. I switched saves files and voila. Erik was no longer being hunted and tortured. ;) Oh, that's only four deaths you say? Well, I had another one recently. Same family, different Sim.
