Anthem, Destiny's clone planned in 2018 will disappoint the players.
The Sims 4 popularity (this "very valuable IP") is more important now than the previous games.
I do indeed think things have changed in comparison to the past so in that respect we might agree. But I think they had planned to make Sims 4 last longer than the predecessors from the start. It is possible that those plans were threatened when the game wasn’t popular. So in that respect its increased popularity may play a part, but only in relation to following those initial plans. Well, that’s my theory ;)
