Nooooooooooo, please no. Why can't they understand that it is for us to decide how our sims react to anything. Not every sim is per default against cheating in tests.
This is an interesting preference. Do you also prefer that sims don't cry after a loved one dies? Personally, I prefer a little bit more realism and consequences in my game. As far as the OP's issue, it sound like a bug, but the overall I like the fact that there can be actual consequences for cheating.
Having your parents show up at your university to yell at you for cheating when you are a young adult isn't exactly realistic. It would be good if their reaction was based on what type of parents they are, for example if they have been strict with their kids in the past then this would be the ideal reaction but if they were like really chill parents then not only it shouldn't bother them but maybe they should even laugh about it ?♀️ And if they were something in the middle a simple text should do.
But of course The Sims 4 just isn't that deep.
I really don't like having standardized reactions for every type of sim and personality in my game and if that's what they're gonna give us then maybe I prefer having no reactions at all because the exact same outcome becomes repetitive after a while of playing the game. This goes for other packs and instances in the game too.
