Sims doing more autonomously

Two of the exact things I don't want my Sims to do autonomously. Especially the spending-their-money thing :(

I really enjoy watching the kids do things together in groups.... It's nice not having them always go off to do their own things.

It's nice they are autonomously using the hot tub now.

The autonomous woohoo is kind of nice even though I haven't had a chance to experience it yet--as long as they autonomously woohoo with the right sim, that is :s

I agree with you about the donation thing. This is not something I want my sims doing on their own.

Also, my teen had just aged up to YA and gotten her first boyfriend. Shortly after he accepted her preposition to be her bf he prepositioned her to woo hoo and they headed to the sauna. Her parents were at that same time doing the same in the hot tub but by my orders this time.

Lol, my sims have more than enough money. Actually now that her parents have died and the older siblings have moved out I'll have her sell the house and buy/build a smaller more homely one with all that cash. Especially since she don't need it. She'll be spending most her time fishing, camping, looking for herbs, etc

Yes and I love it. My sims woohooed on their own as well. I really like that I don't need a mod for that to happen on its own anymore. And one of my kids used the science table to experiment on his own as well. If TS4 keeps making these types of improvements it might win me over after all.

Yep, I enjoy this very much and wish that they expand on it.

I feel like they should have 3 autonomy settings...

1 - Free autonomy: Basically, your Sim will do everything that they are naturally inclined to do as per their personality traits/mood.

2 - Moderate autonomy: Your Sim will only react to their needs.

3 - No autonomy: You Sim will only do what you tell them to do.

I haven't seen it before but one of my Sims directed to cleaning up the dishes cleaned off the stuff left on a plate into the kitchen rubbish bin and then put the plate into the dishwasher. Is that due to one of the traits?
