SIMS for STORYTELLING

I really love the SIMS games for the ability to worldbuild, though I admit I don't really play it for the "life" aspect, but more for designing buildings and characters. Mostly the former.

As a writer, I would love to be able to be able create "scenes" using SIMS combining the elements and content already a part of SIMS, some in different versions like SIMS 3's build a world, and the SIMS Medieval content in addition to new content for more unique builds and scenes. It would also be cool to be able to pose SIMS characters in poses, same with animals, etc. And be able to place more items in places both interior items from different areas and time periods as well as outside such as various plants and crops.

Do you think SIMS would ever be interested in creating something like this for people who want to tell their own unique stories through SIMS technology? (For example, creating scenes that can be used as illustrations for stories - whether they me children's books, chapter books, webnovels/comics, etc)

  • @AirikaT , Hi. I'm going to move your post to the General Sims 4 forums as there is a lot more traffic there and people to discuss. I remember back in the day many people made videos using Sims 2. But this sounds more like a discussion for the General Sims boards. Good idea though.

@OliverWilken I will look into Studio Sessions, thank you. My main concern would be that it wouldn't allow for any commercial use of the photos if I wanted to use them as illustrations.
