While I LOVE the aesthetics of the game and how it looks, actually PLAYING it is tedious and repetitive and boring. I don't know what it is. Is it the lot types and how the game codes them to play...

Whenever I try to play TS4, I come away from the experience with the same sensation and it is depressing to see how far such an excellent franchise has fallen. It's also frustrating because, by watching the live streams, it's obvious that the gurus know the pitfalls and gaping holes in the game play. However, their normal response is to steer the camera somewhere else and to avoid the issue altogether.
The issues with the game are known. It's been known and discussed for so long. However, up to now, there has been precious little done about it that didn't come from the modding community.
