As a Simmer since my early elementary school days (circa 2001/2002), I always loved the Sims as a fun, semi-accurate life simulation game. However, with the most recent installment, I have found this game to become way too predictable. Traits don't really give a Sim any uniqueness other than a few social options, they all end up doing the same actions when left alone (troll the forums, play game on phone, etc.), and they all just act the same in their behaviors.
For me, there just isn't as much novelty in the game anymore. I personally feel like the Sims lost their way after the Sims 2 had been released. I feel like Sims 2 was their peak and then it's all just been kinda downhill from there. It honestly makes me sad; the Sims has been such a huge piece of my life, as it was one of the first computer games I really got into and now to see it like this, selling out to preteens... really unfortunate.
