Sims Height [Close this thread]




I play off and on, and I have had a recent break, but I am confused at one of my child sims suddenly looking like she's standing on a crate-- at the perfect height for a sim between the child and Teen stage. How long has this been here? I know there is a glitch that makes child sims occasionally stretch in game.

It makes you wonder.
This could also mean that perhaps teens were originally intended to be shorter and this is just evidence of that.

I want this! :D

    She just looks taller because she's standing further back. I'm pretty sure that's always been a thing.

    :D Perspective doesn't work that way.

    She would have to be closer to appear taller.
    And since she is standing behind her sibling who is the same age, that's not the case at all.

    Is this a serious post? All Sims in the back row are higher up, or else their faces would be blocked by Sims in the front row. It’s a deliberate design choice.

    Do you think this pic is evidence of a height slider?

    Yes, this is a serious post.
    I thought it just looked odd, and I never said anything about a height slider.
    I have never had that many adults in a household, so I have never seen that.
    So she is standing on a crate. :p

    It is amusing how testy people seem to sound whenever this topic comes up though.
