Sims kissing on the cheek when first meeting?

Is this new? I've seen my sim do it a few times now with people she didn't know (they don't have romantic interest.) On another note, I also got a notification for a update to my game (I already had updated to the Nov 7th patch when I did this. the file size was 67. smth MB.) Could it have come with that? I don't think it's an interaction you can physically choose from a menu, I was invited to Sergio Romeo's house, he wasn't there, but my sim went up to Joaquin and kissed him twice, once on one cheek, next on the other. I think it's kind of cool but I wonder where it came from?

I saw it once in the countryside neighbourhood of Windenburg, between J Huntington and Dina Caliente (NPCs). I was amazed, and then sad to find out I couldn't make my Sims do that. I wish we could, that and the handshake would be nice alternatives to waving your arm around right in front of someone.

I just noticed it myself when I put a new sim in Windenburg. I never had a household live there before so I wondered if it was always there and I just didn't know. I live in Spain and that is how friends greet each other so I thought it was pretty cool.

Its been happening a lot for my sims. They live in Windenburg. It scared me at first cause I thought my married sim was cheating LOL. Was my first time seeing that interaction.

I've seen this for the first time tonight, my sim greeted one of her friends with a hug. I think it's really sweet and a great feature.

I'm not too sure if that specific kiss on the cheek introduction came from Get Together but I know they added introduction gestures, like shaking hands or giving an angry stare at each other, from a patch before GT came out.

I have had Get Together since it came out, but have only just seem my Sim and another Sim doing this.

Wait a minute! My Sim has just done it again.

My Sims are inside the big nightclub in Windenberg (whatever it is called).

Maybe they do it in certain locations?

I have seen shake hands or kissing cheeks a lot more frequently.
